Marina Levinson has more than 25 years of leadership experience managing all aspects of IT and business process transformation with 12+ years as a global CIO of fast-growing high tech companies. She has an exceptional track record building high performance teams and delivering measurable results in both high-growth and downturn business cycles. She has deep expertise integrating M&As and spinning off companies. Marina achieved tangible successes with both on-shore and offshore IT outsourcing in multiple companies.
As a SVP and CIO of NetApp, a $5B+ network storage company, Marina transformed a back office IT organization into a high-performance team capable of supporting 30+% growth in the business. She created a strategic CIO Advisory Board and led board meetings to gain customer perspectives on NetApp’s strategy. She also launched a best-in-class NetApp on NetApp program to promote NetApp solutions to customers and to provide feedback to Engineering and Product Marketing.
As a VP and CIO of Palm Inc, a mobile computing pioneer, she led the IT effort to separate the company from 3Com and in record time built an independent IT organization, infrastructure and applications to support Palm’s IPO and rapid growth. She became an early adopter of mobile technologies by creating an internal program, Palm@Enterprise, which later became a part of Palm’s product offering.
